Mike brings over two decades of commercial real estate experience to his role as Vice President of Development at Black Oak Associates. Experienced in the acquisition, development and redevelopment of community shopping centers, Mike is responsible for analyzing, acquiring, developing, redeveloping and leasing the company’s shopping centers.  

Prior to joining Black Oak Associates, Mike served as Vice President of Acquisitions and Development for Mid-Atlantic Realty Trust.  In that capacity, he was responsible for the acquisition, development and redevelopment of a wide variety of retail properties.  His duties also included new business development, anchor leasing, design and construction supervision and fostering tenant relationships.


Mike is a member of International Council of Shopping Centers and serves on the Board of the Baltimore County Public Schools Education Foundation and is a member of the Economic and Community Development Commission for the town of Bel Air, Maryland.

Mike holds a M.B.A. with a concentration in finance from Loyola College.  He received his undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Delaware.
